Full description
Torbay HER record (SMR record). SDV361984.
A quarry is shown on the 1864 OS County Series 1:2500 (surveyed 1861) contained on a Torbay HBSMR GIS layer; it is located 50m ssw of Beechdown Cottages, now Beechdown Farm.The quarry is marked disused on the 1933 OSurvey 6 inch/1:10 000 map.[1] The quarry is shown but not labelled on the 1963 OS 6 inch/1:10 000; it was circular with a daimeter of 20m.[2]
