Part of an impressive group including the church (SX96NW/58)and presbytery (SX96NW/58/1) by Joseph Hansom. Built 1865 as an orphanage in the local limestone in Early English style on the north east side of the church.
Used as Priory by 1902, a dominicam Convent in the 1960s -70s, now Margaret Clitheroe House.
