Part of an impressive group including the presbytery (SX96NW/58/1)and convent, a former orphanage (SX96NW/58/2) by Joseph Hansom. Built 1865 in the local limestone in Early English style with south west tower and spire; the long nave continas a tall south arcade incorporating a gallery for the orphanage children.
