The restored town stocks are stored under the Town Hall.

Ordnance Survey Archaeology Division, 1978 - 1980, SS41NE31 (Ordnance Survey Archaeology Division Card). SDV348609.
Site visit on 5th December 1978. These stocks are now in the museum in the Town Hall, 1.6 metres long, 0.4 metres high, with four holes.
