Tall 17C-18C walls enclose three sides of the rose garden to the rear of Cockington Cour, the fourth (south-east side) being formed by the house. The south-west and shorter north-west end wall are English garden wall bond of red brick with weathering coping bricks and the north-east side wall is local stone rubble with a Roman tile coping. There are opposing segmental-headed arch doorways in the side walls. The list description is at .
