A brick built air raid shelter with a concrete roof is situated on the north side of Borough Road to the south of the Paignton Community College's old entrance. The long elevation of the structure lies parallel to the road and is approximately 25 feet in length. Ventilation holes in the brickwork are visible just below the roof. One window is visible in the south elevation.
