A small quarry associated with an 'old limekiln' (SX85NE/43/1) is shown on the 1906 OS Second Edition County series 1:2500, contained in Torbay HBSMR GIS layer, but it is not otherwise named, similarly it is marked on the 1933/38 Second revision/Third Series.
Probably established in the mid-19C the site of both quarry and kiln is now built over.
