Full description
Torbay HER record (SMR record). SDV361984.
There was a ropewalk in Shiphay Collaton in the nineteenth century. Walker records it in reference to the construction of a new school by the Rev. Thomas Kitson between 1860 & 70 ' not far from the rope-walk' citing Fielden.[1][2]
