A circular earthwork mound is clearly visible on aerial photographs dating to 1978, but its location on a ridgeline aligned east to west, and the cover of vegetation, means the barrow is often difficult to distinguish on other aerial photographs. However an irregular mound is visible from 1946 to 2007.
