Built into the wall of a demolished cottage in the vicinity of the east side of Churston Road, Churston Ferrers opposite Fircroft was a cup-shaped object carved from sandstone. It may have been a lamp: almost circular with a lip; the bottom is relatively flat, rounding into the sides.
