Torbay HER record (SMR record). SDV361984.
A Medieval or earlier strip field system has been recorded in areas of Brixham surviving until recent times (qv.SX95SW/x). The Brixham tithe map 1838 has dotted lines where there is no defined proper boundary; these are probably indications of baulks.
Shorter provides a detailed analysis of those around Landscove in particular. [1] [2]
