Kent's cavern. two bone implements were found in the cave earth below the black band. one was a portion of a highly finished harpoon barbed on two sides. it was found in the vestibule in the second-foot level. the second was a well finished bone pin found in the vestibule in the fourth-foot level of cave earth, in contact with a molar tooth of rhinoceros tichorhinus. a bodkin and another harpoon were later found in the vestibule. the bone bodkin had its point broken off, but the eye was complete. it had been scraped into form. the bone harpoon, or fish-spear, was barbed on one side only. it was found, in two pieces, in the first-foot level of cave earth.
