Full description
Torbay HER record (SMR record). SDV361984.
The peat deposits of a 'submerged forest' were recognised as the source of a boat-shaped flint tranchet, which was washed out in 1883. [1][2][3]
The flint, in Torquay Museum,was first identified as a mesolithic by S.Palmer.
