1. A dark grey chert flake, pentagonal in outline; probably produced artificially. It was found with the tooth of a fox and bones in the first foot-level in November 1877.

2.A quartzite pebble, over half of a well-rounded ellipsoidal mass. It was found in the second foot-level in November 1877 but did not appear to have been used as a hammerstone.
