Two sections of leat depicted on the historic maps, north-east of the disused foundry.

The Bedford Foundry Leat (1840-1887) is a short section of leat that took water from the Fishlake Valley which the foundry lay in which supplied boiler feed water for the steam engines for the foundry machines.
