Parallel linear earthwork banks, approximately 3.5 metres in width, are visible on aerial photographs taken in 1949. The plot is depicted with mature trees on the late-19th century OS maps and orchard trees on the early-20th century OS maps. They are interpreted as late-19th or early-20th century banks for fruit tree cultivation. Some trees were visible on the 1940 aerial photographs, but none now seem to remain and no earthworks are visible on images derived from lidar data captured between 1998 and 2017, suggesting that the land was levelled and trees removed during the second part of the 20th century.
