19th century garden terraces and a raised platform for Indio house, Bovey Tracey are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken from 1946 onwards and on digital images derived from lidar data captured between 1998-2017. The earthworks are largely depicted on the First Edition Ordnance Survey map of the late 19th century, with exception of the southern of the two garden terraces. Also partly depicted on this map and clearly visible in 1948 and recent aerial imagery taken between 2015-17 is an area of 19th or 20th century formal gardens of geometrical design set within a square hedged enclosure, circa 18m by 18m in size, with entrances to the north and east.
