Parallel linear earthwork banks, approximately 3.5 metres in width, are visible on aerial photographs taken in 1946 onwards and on images derived from lidar data captured in 2013, to the south-east of Penpark Plantation. The plot is depicted with mature trees and orchard trees on the late-19th century OS maps and orchard trees on the early-20th century OS maps. They are interpreted as late-19th or early-20th century banks for fruit tree cultivation.
