A narrow, sinuous ditch less than 2m wide is visible as an earthwork on aerial photographs taken from 1946 onwards and on digital images derived from lidar data captured between 1998 and 2017, at Higher Combe, Bovey Tracey. The earthwork extends from a watercourse and broadly follows the contours of the south facing combe slope towards Higher Combe. It is interpreted as a possible water channel of 19th century date. An additional earthwork channel is visible to the south, although this is interpreted as a modern farm track and has not been recorded.
