A curvilinear earthwork ditch, up to approximately 6 metres wide, is visible on aerial photographs taken in 1949 and on images derived from lidar data captured between 1998 and 2017. It is roughly parallel to a boundary circa 37 metres to the north that is depicted on the tithe map, and is interpreted as the remains of a medieval field boundary that went out of use before the mid-19th century.
