An earthwork curvilinear ditch, approximately 4 metres wide, is visible on images derived from lidar data captured in 2013. It fits closely into the surrounding field pattern depicted on the 19th century maps, which has been characterised as medieval in origin, and is tentatively interpreted as the remains of a field boundary that formed part of the field system MDV119706. No features are depicted in exactly this location on the tithe map, although a mature tree depicted on the late-19th century map along the line of the earthwork may be a former hedge tree. This particular field boundary presumably went out of use before the mid-19th century.
