An earthwork curvilinear ditch, approximately 2 metres wide, is visible on aerial photographs taken in 1946. It fits into the surrounding field pattern which has been characterised as medieval in origin, and is parallel to a curvilinear boundary circa 31 metres to the north-east. It is interpreted as the remains of a field boundary, and as no features are depicted in this exact location on the tithe map, this particular field boundary presumably went out of use before the mid-19th century.
