An earthwork mound of circa 50 by 22 metres is visible on aerial photographs taken from 1948 and on lidar data captured between 1998 and 2017, to the north of an area of possible medieval or post-medieval tin streaming. It may be a spoil tip associated with extraction and working here. The plot is described as arable on the tithe apportionment, and the earthwork is not depicted on the late-19th century mapping, so extractive activity here is likely to have ceased before the mid-19th century.
