Four earthwork pits are visible on images derived from lidar data captured between 1998 and 2017 to the south of possible medieval or post-medieval tin streaming works (MDV19917). They may be further extractive pits associated with this activity, although given the size of the largest of the pits at over 100 metres wide, it is possible that they were used for extraction of different materials. The plot is described as furze and pasture on the tithe apportionment, and no features are depicted in this exact location on the late-19th century mapping, so extractive activity here is believed to have ceased before the mid-19th century.
