A curvilinear earthwork bank, up to approximately 15 metres wide, is visible on images derived from lidar data captured between 1998 and 2017. Although its placement within the surrounding field system would be in keeping with an interpretation as a field boundary of possible medieval origin, its large scale suggests that it is perhaps more likely to be a geological feature. No features are depicted in this location on the available historic maps, and any field boundary here went out of use before the mid-19th century.
