A curvilinear ditch, approximately 3.5 metres wide, is visible as an earthwork on images derived from lidar data captured between 1998 and 2017. It appears to branch at the southern end, and one branch joins a trackway depicted on the late-19th century map. It is interpreted as a former trackway across Lower Down that went out of use by the mid-19th century.
