A curvilinear ditch, approximately 3 metres wide, is visible as an earthwork on images derived from lidar data captured between 1998 and 2017. It is similar in appearance to a probable trackway to the west (MDV124636), and it is interpreted as a former trackway across Lower Down. It is not depicted on the late-19th century mapping, and presumably went out of use by the mid-19th century.
