Full description

A cropmark of a curvilinear ditch is visible.
Many of the aerial photographs consulted are copies of DAPs held by the Historic England Archive. These have been recorded here as separate sources as there is a possibility that variations in processing could result in images on which archaeological features show differently than on the original images.

A curvilinear cropmark of a ditch circa 2 wide and circa 84m long is visible on aerial photographs of 1984, defining three sides of a possible rectilinear ditched enclosure, at least circa 40m across. The enclosure overlooks Dawlish Water to the east. The cropmark might be evidence of an oval ditched enclosure of later prehistoric date.
