Visited 17/10/2014. Trial / test pit and spoil heap recorded at SX 78707 79471. Quarry/shaft. Significant spoil downhill. Obvious walling made of lime mortar at entrance. Pit measures 7.0 metres wide by 10.8 metres long. Spoil heap measures 22.5 metres top edge by 12.3 metres wide. Sketched, photographed.
