Full description

Pye, A., 2011, 5 Belvedere Close, Topsham: Watching Brief (Report - Watching Brief). SDV362773.

A watching brief was undertaken by the Exeter City Council Archaeology Officer, during development of the site.

Material relating to a possible kiln overlaid a posthole in trench 1. The pit did not contain any finds or any other direct evidence of human activity. However, it appears to be man-made rather than of natural origin and may represent prehistoric activity in the area.
