Linear earthwork banks, circa 9m wide and northeast to southwest aligned, are visible on aerial photographs taken in 1986 and on digital images derived from lidar data captured between 1998 and 2017. The earthworks do not correspond with any linear features shown in this location on the mid-19th century Parish Tithe Map, or on later available historic maps, but are broadly in keeping with the historic field pattern depicted in this location which is characterised as post-medieval enclosures. The earthworks are interpreted as possible relict field boundaries of medieval or post-medieval date which had passed out of use by the mid-19th century.
