The visible earthworks correspond with a road or track depicted on the Tithe map for Teignmouth.

The visible earthworks correspond with a road or track depicted on the Tithe Map for Teignmouth. This section of road was cleared following the curtting of a new road east from Higher Venn Farm in the mid-19th century.
