The earthworks partly correspond with field boundaries in this location.

Linear earthwork banks, circa 5m wide and northeast to southwest and northwest to southeast aligned, are visible on digital images derived from lidar data captured between 1998 and 2017. The earthworks partly correspond with field boundaries shown in this location on the mid-19th century Parish Tithe Map, although several sections of bank are not shown on this map, or on later available historic maps, and so had evidently passed out of use by this time. The earthworks define a number of small rectilinear land parcels, with three irregularly shaped pits for possible extraction visible amongst the eastern banks. Given that they appear to represent associated features, they have been recorded as a single monument. The earthwork field boundaries and extractive pits are of possible medieval or post-medieval date.
