Parallel earthwork banks, circa 4.5m wide, are visible on aerial photographs taken in 1986. The visible banks are closely spaced and are aligned parallel to the contours of the northwest facing combe slope, occupying an area of approximately 0.15 hectares. The banks coincide with an orchard shown in this location on the mid-19th century Parish Tithe Map. An orchard in this location supports the interpretation that the earthworks were possible 19th century tree planting banks, the fruit trees having been established on the earthworks for increased soil depth and improved drainage. The orchard is covered in trees on aerial imagery taken between 1946-1949, although has been completely cleared by 1986. A linear earthwork (MDV125146) which defines the southern extent of the tree planting banks may represent an associated feature and a post-medieval or 19th century extractive pit has also been recorded to the southwest (MDV125148).
