Cropmarks which have formed over levelled ditches, circa 2.5m wide, are visible on aerial photographs taken in 1984. The cropmarks define the northeast, southwest and northwest sides of a rectilinear enclosure, circa 62m long by 72m long, with an angular corner visible to the northwest. The enclosure is bisected by an extant field boundary of potential medieval date, with those cropmarks within the western land parcel better defined than those within the eastern land parcel, the latter are barely perceptible. A curvilinear and linear cropmark within the eastern corner of the enclosure are also visible, although their origin is uncertain. The morphology of the enclosure supports a late prehistoric or Romano-British date.
