Full description
Fox, A., 1953, 20th Report on the Archaeology and Early History of Devon, 174 (Article in Serial). SDV223412.
A bronze coin, a follis of Constantius Chlorus minted at Alexandria, Cohen type 118, was dug up in a garden at Pilton near Barnstaple and has been presented to North Devon Athenaeum.

Site visit 23rd October 1953. A brass coin of the Roman Emperor Constantius was dug up in the back garden of 36 Pilton Lawn in March 1952. It was lent to the Anthenaeum.
