A pit is depicted and labelled as Old Quarry.

A pit is visible as an earthwork.

A small pit is depicted on the Ordnance Survey First Edition 25in map in Stony Copse and labelled as Old Quarry. A pit approximately 40m by 30m remains visible as an earthwork under woodland on digital images derived from lidar data captured between 1998 and 2017 and is depicted on the OS MasterMap. The pit is probably limestone quarry associated with a lime kiln immediately to the south. The pit was not transcribed by the survey.
