A pit is depicted and labelled as Old Quarry.

A pit is visible as an earthwork.

A pit is depicted on the Ordnance Survey First Edition 25in map and labelled as Old Quarry. A pit approximately 60m by 40m remains visible as an earthwork on digital images derived from lidar data captured between 1998 and 2017 and is depicted on the OS MasterMap in use as a depot, including permanent structures. The pit was probably a limestone quarry associated with a lime kiln immediately to the north-west (MDV52196). The pit was not transcribed by the survey.
