Cropmarks of possible ditches are visible.

Cropmarks of ditches up to 2m wide are visible on aerial photographs of 1994 defining a possible rectilinear enclosure approximately 40m by 15m in size. The visible cropmarks do not correspond with any features depicted on the Tithe map for Bishopsteignton and might therefore be evidence of enclosure predating the mid-19th century. They might be related to rectilinear cropmarks visible circa 90m to the west (MDV102858), possibly associated with medieval to post-medieval slate quarrying. Alternatively, the cropmarks might be geological in origin.
