Narrow curvilinear ditches are visible as earthworks.

Narrow curvilinear ditches, less than 2m wide, are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1946. The visible earthwork channels occupy an area of circa 0.73 hectares and roughly follow the contours of the north facing combe slope and are interpreted as the gutters of a 19th century catch meadow irrigation system. This system likely taps a spring-fed stream that rises circa 265m to the southwest and had likely passed out of use by 1946. The earthworks are not visible after this date and have possibly since been levelled. A more extensive catch meadow system which utilises a different watercourse has also been recorded to the north (MDV125361).
