A circular structure is visible on aerial photographs taken in 1946. At approximately 8 metres in diameter its size is consistent with an interpretation as a temporary water tank, many of which were constructed during the Second World War and known as EWS (Emergency Water Supply) reservoirs. They were normally used in areas where water supply was disrupted due to air raids. This example appears to be empty of water in 1946, and it is not visible on later available aerial photographs indicating that it was removed soon after the war.
