Two curvilinear earthwork ditches, each less than a metre wide, are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken between 1949 and 1959. They are aligned approximately along the contour, dropping less than 5 metres over a visible length of 100 metres, on a west facing slope. They are interpreted as the remains of former catchmeadow gutters of post-medieval or 19th century origin. The area is described as meadow on the mid-19th century tithe apportionment, and may have been irrigated at this time. The gutters are not depicted on the late-19th century mapping, and any catchmeadow here had probably fallen out of use during the late-19th century. The area has since been developed.
