Two curvilinear earthwork ditches, each less than a metre wide, are visible as slight earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1946. They are aligned approximately parallel to each other and to the field boundaries. They are tentatively interpreted as the remains of former catchmeadow gutters of post-medieval or 19th century origin. The area is described as meadow on the mid-19th century tithe apportionment, and may have been irrigated at this time. The gutters are not depicted on the late-19th century mapping, and any catchmeadow here had probably fallen out of use during the late-19th century. The area has since been developed.
