A series of cropmarks which have formed over levelled ditches, between 2-5m wide, is visible on digital images derived from oblique aerial photographs taken in 2018. The northwest to southeast and northeast to southwest aligned cropmarks partly define the northwest extents of two adjacent rectilinear enclosures. That to the southwest is possibly double-ditched and measures at least 75m long by circa 50m wide, with that to the northeast circa 53m wide, with clearly defined entrance-way along its eastern edge. Both enclosures have clearly define angular corners. Two broadly curvilinear cropmarks to the northeast may represent associated features, although may also be geological in origin. The south-eastern extent of the two enclosures are bisected by an extant field boundary and the cropmarks within the adjacent land parcel comprising grass are only partly perceptable. The character and form of the two enclosures supports the interpretation they are of probable late prehistoric or Romano-British date and possibly represent evidence that at least two phases of occupation are present in this location, although there is no clear relationship between these two enclosures.
