Two curvilinear pale cropmarks, circa 2.5 metres wide, are visible on aerial photographs taken in drought conditions in 2018. They fit into the surrounding field pattern and are parallel to curvilinear field boundaries depicted on the tithe maps, which are likely to have an origin as medieval strip fields. The transcribed features do not correspond to boundaries depicted on the tithe map, and are interpreted as medieval field boundaries that fell out of use by the mid-19th century.
