A linear cropmark which has possibly formed over a levelled ditch, circa 4.5mm wide and north to south aligned, is visible on digital images derived from aerial photographs taken in 2018. The cropmark does not correspond with any linear features shown on the mid-19th century Parish Tithe Map, or on later available historic maps. The origin of this cropmark is largely uncertain. It is located in proximity to a prehistoric or Romano-British enclosure (MDV125506) to the southwest and so may therefore represent part of an additional enclosure or possible field boundary. A medieval or post-medieval origin is, however, also possible, as is a geological origin.
