Turton, S. D., 1997, SWWSL Croyde sewage treatment scheme. Archaeological assesment and preliminary survey, 3 (Report - Assessment). SDV365964.

An assessment including a walkover survey was undertaken as part of an environmental assessment for the proposed location for the Croyde Sewage Treatment Works. The area of site B was divided into four fields in 1839. Two of the fields were called Longlands (No. 1389) and Little Longland (No. 946). The names are suggestive of the long furlongs or strips of a medieval open-field system. No archaeological features were visible in the field.
