A mound approximately 20m long and 8m wide is depicted, but not annotated.

A mound circa 23m long and 7m wide is visible as an earthwork.

Within the Great Plantation there is a disused rifle range of which the stop butt remains extant. It is adjacent to a small pond near the crossroads in the track. The earthwork of the butt is substantial of at least 2m high and at a guess over 15m long. It is depicted on the OS 6-inch of 1887 (Devonshire CIX.NW).
