Full description
Eardley-Wilmot, H., 1981, Piece of Roman Road (Worksheet). SDV363003.
A field visit to the line of the presumed road at circa SX700997 was most persuasive. Part of it appears as a raised agger, and traces of paving were seen. The ford at the above grid reference is exactly on line, and traces of metalling were visible in the washed out banks.
