Depicted on the map overlay based on the 1979 aerial photograph.

Bray, L., 2017, Bank running N-S 480m ESE of Sherrall Farm (Worksheet). SDV363037.

This feature (HD11) was identified during a field visit (21/04/2017). It consists of an earthwork bank with a stony fabric orientated north-south and measuring around 4-5 metres in width and 0.5 - 0.6 metres high (maximum). There is no sign of a ditch and the ground level appears lower on its western side than the natural slope of the ground would demand.
The feature is likely to be a relict field boundary although its character is more massive than that of the other boundaries dated to the prehistoric or medieval/post-medieval periods in the vicinity. Its dating is thus uncertain and its relationships with HD12 and HD13 at its northern end are uncertain.

Bray, L. + Crabb, A., 2017, HER Field Updates (Cartographic). SDV361914.

Visited 21.04.17 and plotted using GPS. Relict boundary of unknown date.
